We use one address for everything: questions before you sign up, help with monitors and alerts, billing, plan changes, Enterprise questions, data requests and security reports. Using one address means nothing gets lost between departments.
What to include in your message
A few details let us answer in one reply instead of three.
- The email address of your UptimePilot account, if you have one.
- The name or URL of the monitor or status page in question.
- What you expected to happen and what happened instead, with the time and your time zone.
- The alert text or error message, copied as it appears.
- For billing questions, the invoice number or the date of the charge.
- For security reports, the steps to reproduce and the impact you observed.
Help inside your account
After you log in, help is available inside your account next to the settings it describes, with the steps for adding monitors, setting alert rules, connecting Slack or Microsoft Teams, publishing a status page and downloading reports. Many answers are also in the uptime monitoring faq, and the how uptime monitoring works page explains each step of a check.
When to expect a reply
We reply to most messages within one business day. Messages about a monitor that is not checking, an alert that did not arrive or a billing problem are handled first.
Enterprise and larger teams
Questions about Enterprise, such as SSO with SAML, the audit log, invoicing or onboarding, go to the same address.
